Fastclick is one of the relatively newer ad networks, and it seems to have many things going for it. Offering a mixture of both CPMs and CPC, in both banners, skyscrapers, pop-ups, and inVue ads (floating javascript ads), fastclick seems to be poised to become the next big ad network.

Fastclick is one of the relatively newer ad networks, and it seems to have many things going for it. Offering a mixture of both CPMs and CPC, in both banners, skyscrapers, pop-ups, and inVue ads (floating javascript ads), fastclick seems to be poised to become the next big ad network.
Fastclick's model revolves around the standard banner ads and pop-ups. Every day, they feature an updated media kit with current ad rates. Publishers get 65% of the price. As of this current writing, the CPM was $1.25 for banner ads, $5.00 for pop-unders, $1.50 for skyscrapers, and $2.00 for inVue ads [these are the rates on their media kit]. This translates into $0.81, $2.93, $0.98, and $1.30 CPMs respectively. The market is at the mercy of advertisers, and therefore could go either lower or maybe even higher as the prestige of the network increases.
Their pop-ups are an excellent program. They are pop-behinds, and are a lot less intrusive then programs such as ExitFuel, which can also generate multiple popups. Additionally, their counting seems to be superior when compared to all other networks.
Fastclick is also one of the leading ad networks when it comes to technology. Adopting skyscrapers, and releasing their own inVue format, the ad network is working hard to maximise revenue for both parties. Even though the CPMs are not very high for these format, especially the inVue considering how obstrusive it really is, and there are not a lot of advertisers, fastclick is poised to become the leader when the advertising market starts to pick up again
Fastclick gives a lot of power into your hands. Statistics are well rounded, and you can even exclude advertisers that you believe will not work well with your site. The statistics can be even used in place of a tracking program, even though, imo, internal CGI trackers are best.
Their program is two-tiered. Therefore, for every site you refer, you gross 5% of their revenue. Standard like most other ad networks that do offer referral programs.
Payment is rendered once you have reached $50 in earnings. A check can be mailed to you, directly deposited into your account, or even use PayPal to transfer the money to you.
